EIS Requirements:
Young Interventions, Inc. Early Intervention Specialists (EIS), work as a part of a team to implement enriched developmentally appropriate activities and parent training to support a child’s individualized goals within their Infant Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Early Intervention Specialists should be creative, flexible and innovative in their approach to working with young children and their family. Early Intervention Specialists should be passionate and dedicated to ensuring a solid foundation, in terms of developmental programming, is put forth for each child and family on their assigned caseload as well as committed to supporting the parent education and coaching model and routines-based intervention model that Young Interventions, Inc. believes is so crucial within the structure of Early Intervention services.
ALL applicants for the position of Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) MUST:

Have a Bachelors Degree or higher in Child Development or related field

Have a min of 1 year paid experience working with children 0-5 years

Hold a valid Driver’s License

Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various home based sites throughout the day

Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration

Maintain Current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
The following is desired for this position, however, may not be mandatory:

Experience working with Children with Special Needs

Understanding and prior experience implementing parent coaching model and routines-based interventions.

Prior experience within the field of Early Intervention

Bilingual abilities (i.e.: Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Chinese, Cantonese, Arabic, etc.)
